2017-11-23 Wedholms has installed Norway’s first silo milk cooling tank

Norway is known for its many small dairy farms but even here, structural changes are ongoing and the average farm size is increasing. Due to this, the interest for silo tanks has also significantly increased and in the beginning of November, Norway’s first silo tank was installed in Eidsberg in the South-East of Norway. The volume of the silo is 10,000 litres and on site for the installation were both representatives from Wedholms and service technicians from Tine who got trained on how to install a silo. Within short, Wedholms will deliver two more silo tanks to Norwegian dairy farms. In Norway, the dairies own the milk cooling tanks and Tine (Norway’s largest dairy) has been buying milk cooling tanks from Wedholms for many years.
