With the Argos control unit, we can offer you one of the smartest control units available on the market today. Years of intensive R&D-development resulted in a smart, easy-to-use control unit, which makes your everyday work easier. Argos is the ultimate choice regardless if you choose a horizontal tank or a vertical silo tank from Wedholms. If you are looking for a more basic version of a control unit with fewer functions for your horizontal tank, WinMaster CL2 might be an option. For our open tanks, we offer WinCool, a simple control unit with all functions needed for a manual milk cooling tank.

    Argos control system

    Our intelligent control system Argos makes your everyday work a bit easier. To further promote the milk cooling process, the Argos control system provides excellent conditions for efficient agitation and temperature control. Functions for agitation, cooling and cleaning are easily overviewed and controlled via the user-friendly display. Argos has been developed to provide convenient control of all milk tank functions, resulting in increased security and cost efficiency in your milk production. The user-friendly menu has a logical structure in different levels, from basic every-day functions to seldom-used advanced operations. The menu is available in a wide range of languages.

    Argos also includes advanced built-in alarm functions, alerting for any malfunction in the system. As an additional option, Argos can be programmed to communicate with automatic milking systems, as well as to provide remote access and SMS alerts. One thing that makes Argos unique is the fact that there is one dedicated button for the milk tank driver to control the entire emptying-process of the tank. This of course almost eliminates the risk for mistakes.

    Using the software Argos Navigator, the farmer, advisor or technician can get access to the cooling data in multiple ways; via a USB cable, a local network on the farm, or through the Internet. With the addition of the option Milk Tank Manager, all processes can be monitored and controlled on distance from a computer or mobile device. The farmer can also grant access to external persons like an advisor or a service technician.

    Argos can be retrofitted to an existing tank. If you have an old control system from Wedholms, WinMaster CL2 or WinMaster MobileCom, you can easily upgrade it to Argos and get access to all the advanced functions of our state of the art control system.

    Logging and history
    The software program Argos Navigator presents a regular process status as well as historic procedures, enabling the user to extract useful data and optimize functionality.

    Emptying
    To facilitate the emptying procedure, the milk truck driver needs to use only one dedicated button to get instant access to the emptying functions.
    Agitation
    The agitation function can be programmed according to customer requests regarding cycle and intervals, speed, temperature, delay options, etc.
    Automatic milking systems
    Argos includes several functions specially designed for automatic milking systems (AMS). The exact set-up may vary between different AMS manufacturers. Argos has been developed to provide convenient control of milk tank functions, resulting in increased security and cost efficiency.     Nautilus 2 Control system

    The intelligent control system Nautilus 2 makes your everyday work a bit easier. To further promote the milk cooling process, the Nautilus 2 control system provides excellent conditions for efficient agitation, cooling and cleaning. All functions are easily overviewed and controlled via the user-friendly display. Nautilus 2 has been developed to provide convenient control of all milk tank functions and optimized communication with the Lely Astronaut milking robot and the T4C management system, resulting in increased security and cost efficiency in your milk production. Therefore, the Nautilus milk cooling tank should be your given choice in combination with your Lely Astronaut.

    The user-friendly menu has a logical structure in different levels, from basic every-day functions to seldom-used advanced operations. The menu is available in a wide range of languages.     WinMaster CL2

    The WinMaster CL2 is our basic version of control system, available as an option for horizontal milk cooling tanks in conventional milking systems. The control system automatically controls cooling, agitation and cleaning. It is possible to adjust the settings to fit the individual farm conditions and dairy requirements. The WinMaster CL2 has various alarm functions, helping you to stay in control of your milk quality. It has been sold for many years and its quality and reliability is well proven. If you have an existing WinMaster CL2 on your Wedholms milk cooling tank, it is possible for you to upgrade it to Argos, our most modern and advanced control system.

    WinCool

    WinCool is Wedholms control unit for open type tanks with manual cleaning. It is easy to use and automatically controls the cooling and agitation of the tank, according to chosen settings. The digital display shows temperature, cooling delay and basic alarms. WinCool has three buttons, one for cooling, one for agitation and one for information. Each button has a light showing when the function is activated.

With the upgrade kit you can easily upgrade your old Wedholms control unit to Argos, one of the best and most advanced control units on the market. With Argos you get many smart functions, such as partial milk collection, as well as data analysis and storage. There also is a special button for the milk truck driver, controlling all necessary functions during milk collection, thus minimizing the risk for mistakes. With Argos, you also get access to many smart options, such as Tank Guard and Milk Tank Manager. The Argos upgrade kit is compatible with WinMaster MobileCom and WinMaster CL2

    Tank Guard

    The tank guard monitors the operation in your cooling tank and shows a clear red light if there is an alarm. Note that the tank guard is a requirement from some dairies, e.g. Arla. The product contains the unlocking of the software functionality in the control unit, as well as a light-module which is mounted onto the Argos control unit. The Tank Guard can easily be retrofitted on farm by a service technician. Do you wish to install the Tankguard but have an older version of Wedholms’ control unit or Lely Nautilus?     Milk Tank Manager

    With Milk Tank Manager from Wedholms, you can stay in control of your milk quality, even on a distance. With our server solution, you can easily access your tank or tanks through the internet from your pc, smart phone or tablet and see the status of your tank, as well as historical data. You can also give limited or full access to an external person, such as a dairy advisor or a service technician, which could save you both time and money. For the dairy as the tank owner, Milk Tank Manager provides an overview and easy real-time access to all connected tanks.

    Milk Tank Manager can be installed from factory or retrofitted to existing tanks with an Argos control unit. If you have a WinMaster CL2 or WinMaster MobileCom from Wedholms but would like to get Milk Tank Manager installed, you might want to consider an upgrade of your control unit to Argos. With our easy-installed upgrade-kit, your old control unit is quickly transformed to Argos, which will give you all the advantages of our newest control unit and the opportunity to install Milk Tank Manager.
