Solution for weight cells for Silo

Contact us to find out more about what solutions we can offer to enable installation of weight cells under the silo body. Note that weight cells need to be ordered separately.

Sample valve for Silo

The optional Wedholms sample cock for silo tanks is a valve with a tap, mounted to the manhole door, to enable milk samples from the silo tank.

Ladder with safety cage for Silo

We offer a ladder in aluminum with a safety cage, to enable quick and safe access to the top of the silo for service purposes.

Top manhole for Silo

We offer an extra, optional manhole on top of the silo to enable inspection and service of the cleaning head.

Alcove for Silo

We offer an insulated alcove in lightweight material so you can easily connect your new silo tank to the milk room.

AK Müller valves

To prevent damage in the cleaning system of the milk cooling tank due to freezing, in regions with very cold climate, we offer AK Müller valves as an option for the standard water valves of the cleaning system.

Heater

If the temperature of the cleaning water is low, there is an obvious risk for bacterial growth in the tank. A heater can be chosen as an option if there is not enough hot water available on the farm.

Detergent shelf

To facilitate cleaning of your milking room and thus a good hygiene, we offer a shelf for your detergent cans as an option.

Extended side evaporators for Silo

Silo milk cooling tanks have a smaller cooling surface in relation to volume, compared to horizontal tanks.

Receiver and magnetic valve

A receiver is a small vessel that contains refrigerant and works as a buffer to handle different loads on the cooling system, which could be caused by e.g. very differing temperatures in the environment of the cooling unit, or that the cooling unit is placed some distance from the tank or at a different height level.

Capacity regulator

When the milk volume in the tank is small, there is a risk for freezing.
